North west estate agent Gascoigne Halman has donated a £250 slice of their £25k Community Challenge fund to Hayfield Junior Football Club to buy brand new first aid kits.

The club was formed in 2008 and now has around 130 children from six to 16.

The club wanted the funding to buy new first aid kits, which are taken to every match and coaching session to ensure the children’s safety.

Hayfield Junior Football Club chairman Carl Dean said: “The first aid kits wear and tear and the contents needs to be replaced to ensure everything is well within its expiry date.

“The children’s safety is very important to us, so with this generous donation from Gascoigne Halman, we can make sure the children have access to a brand new first aid kit when they’re playing at the club.”

Gascoigne Halman celebrated its 25th anniversary by setting up a £25,000 fund to support local causes.

Their aim was to select charities and community groups that create a positive impact on the local community whilst providing long term benefits for the local area.
