Business and arts hub to finally be revealed

Village Point in Heaton Moor

Village Point, the new arts and business venue in Heaton Moor, will be revealed at a VIP reception this week.

The £250,000 transformation of the former Moor Suite on Heaton Moor Road will be unveiled at the event on Thursday and will also include music and food.

As well as having the chance to explore the venue, guests can also sample some of the food and drink which will be available to those booking the venue for their own events, including canapés from nearby Brassica Grill.

Village Point will become a home for freelancers as well as being a venue for arts events, weddings, celebrations and business.

Stephen Dillon, investor at Village Point, said: “We’re really excited about what’s been achieved and we can’t wait to share it with everyone.

“We’ve already had lots of bookings from people who recognise that this is something new and unique for the area and want to be part of it.

“It really is a dream come true to be launching Village Point in The Heatons, the place I’ve called home for the last 30 years.”

Village Point will comprise of three main spaces – the 200-person Ballroom, The Lodge and The Hub, which has been created for freelancers, small businesses, entrepreneurs, and students with workspaces, wifi, full mailing address and a locker.
