Vernon Building Society

The Vernon Building Society is an independent, mutual building society founded in 1924 in Stockport.

The Vernon is headquartered in Stockport town centre and has six branches in the SK postcode.

They also have community links with the Vernon Building Society (Poynton) Brass Band and Stockport County, and since 2012 has given away £50,000 to community groups and charities through the Vernon Jubilee Fund.
