The Hare and Hounds Classic Vehicle Club is again hosting the free event on August 14 from 10am-4pm at Stockport Market Place in the town centre.

The event will include a display of over 60 classic vehicles, including the Robinsons Brewery 1927 Thornycroft delivery truck and over 25 classic motorcycles.

Trophies will be presented to the best car and motorcycle on the day.

On the same day the popular Vintage Village is being held and will also feature a collection of vintage vehicles. Admission is £2 for adults, £1.50 concessions, and under-12s go free.

Stockport Market Place is full of places to eat and drink and they will be open to visit.

Councillor Kate Butler, Executive Member for Economy & Regeneration, said: “Stockport Council is delighted to be supporting this event — the Classic Vehicle and Motor Cycle Show will bring people from across the borough down to the Market Place, where there will be lots to see and plenty of places open to visit.

“The event was a great success last year, and I am confident this year will be the same.”
