Click Finance has moved into Stockport town centre from Hazel Grove to better serve its growing customer base.
The company is a specialist brokerage providing secured and unsecured loans up to £100,000 and 2nd charge mortgage loans up to £1million, working with a panel of established UK lenders.
They have taken 1,400sq ft on the 9th floor of Orbit Developments’ flagship property Regent House, with access to a high-quality talent pool for future recruitment flagged as one of the main drivers of the move.
“Our people are important to us,” said Click Finance’s Managing Director Matt Meacham. “We are very keen on developing staff, giving them a clear view of a long-term career with us and investing in qualifications to get them there.
Six new staff have joined the company since the move. The firm has also gained a new Investors in People accreditation and been shortlisted as Best Company to Work For in the Credit Strategy Awards 2017.
Matt Meacham again: “We knew that a town centre location would attract more people with the quality of skills and experience we needed and that has proven to be the case. They can also get here easily.”
There are excellent transport links in and out of the town centre and Regent House is close to local rail and bus stations.
Click Finance has seen strong year-on-year growth since 2012, thanks largely to a bespoke loan sourcing software programme designed in house, an excellent lead generation strategy, again handled in-house, and an uncompromising approach to treating customers fairly.
“It is key to everything we do,” said Matt.
The company is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Preferred lending partners include Stockport-based Together, Shawbrook, Avant Credit and Paragon among many others. Plans to expand into mortgages and insurance protection are well underway.
Matt continued: “The move into Regent House will help us realise these ambitions. There is flexibility around the space so we can grow, either into more space here, or into other local Orbit buildings.
“It’s a professional environment – smart fit out and impressive main reception – to welcome existing and future lending partners and for our team to work in.
“It’s good to see more on offer in the town centre at lunchtime and after work for staff too.”
Orbit Developments’ Leasing Director Rhys Owen commented: “Employee amenity is more and more important when trying to recruit and retain quality staff, so it’s encouraging to see Matt and his team recognising this, choosing to move in from the suburbs and benefiting from the significant improvements to the retail and leisure offer in the town centre.
“Every business that bases their business here is helping to drive and support the local economy through increased footfall and spend in our local cafes and independent retailers so we’re very pleased to welcome Matt and his team to Regent House and wish them all the best for the future.”
