Valour Finance provides free minibus to charities and schools

Valor Community mini-bus

The free use of a brand new minibus for schools and charities is being offered by Stockport business Valour Finance Group.

The company, based in Tiviot Dale, bought and insured the vehicle after learning it was needed for transport for activities and trips.

The 9-seater Ford Torneo, is available to book online at the company’s website and has already taken its first booking.

Valour CEO Mark Bowker said: “The mini bus was an initiative by Valour’s “Charity Superstar Action Group” – a team of six employees committed to helping us deliver support locally where needed.

“They consulted with local charities and schools to find out what they really needed and a minibus came top of the list.

“It is part of Valour’s commitment to helping good causes in the Stockport area.”

The bus is available in 48 hour time slots and drivers must be aged over 25 with a full UK driving license.

The Valour minibus had its first outing on June 6th when Signpost Stockport for Carers, used it to take volunteers to Stockport Town Hall for a carer information Day event.
