Friends organise a Bazaar night for St Ann’s Hospice

Judith Lacy and Louise Banks have organised a fashion evening for St Ann's Hospice

Close friends who met through Stockport charity St Ann’s Hospice are hosting a fundraising event in Bowdon for the charity.

Louise Banks and Judith Lacy have organised a fashion and beauty evening Bowdon Bazaar at The Cinnamon Club in Bowdon, on Tuesday, November 22, from 7pm.

The pair met nine years ago when Louise then worked as a fundraiser at the Heald Green hospice near where she now lives.

Judith, from Bowdon, had visited the hospice with a donation following her husband Kevin’s funeral.

The IT project manager was treated at St Ann’s before he died of cancer, aged 49.

Judith said: “When I first met Louise I was keen to help the hospice in some way and we organised fundraising events together.”

Louise, a mum-of-two, said: “We haven’t worked together for a few years and are really excited to be doing this for the hospice and hope it’ll be well supported.”

Tickets for their Bazaar are £10; two for £15 and there will be a range of stalls and make up demonstrations.

There will be a ‘Swish’ in which guests can take clothes and accessories to swap and a vintage stall, hosted by Bottle Green.

Lancome at John Lewis will be among beauty displays.
