Ghana’s Olympic judo team have been warming up for Rio in Stockport.
They have been training at the Cheadle Drill Hall under the watchful eye of Steve Pullen MBE, who has been a key figure in judo development at all levels for many years in the region.
Skye Brizzi, Razak Mumuni, Magomed Maksudo, Timmy Alhassan and Dominic Agudo have been competing in regional competitions in Wilmslow and Walsall.
Steve said: “We have a great group of ambitious judo players and their dedicated efforts have reaped their reward and provide a great example to the other members of the group of all ages and abilities.”
The Rio Olympics start this week, running from Aug 5-17.
