Hundreds of women are expected at this year’s Beechwood Ladies’ Lunch and Fashion Show to raise money for the Stockport charity.

The theme for this year’s event is Midsummer Night’s Dream and will be held at the new venue of the Hilton, Deansgate, Manchester, on Friday, March 24, between 11.30am and 4pm.

Key 103 breakfast host and new Beechwood patron Mike Toolan will be hosting the event again this year.

Fundraising manager Angela Gray, said: “Mike was a real hit last year and we are excited to have him back again, especially as he is now a patron of Beechwood.

“Tickets are selling fast, so please do get in touch. It will be a fantastic day of amazing food, fashion and entertainment with our inspirational Beechwood models. We will look forward to seeing you there.”

Last year the event, sponsored by Brown Shipley private banking, Pareto Financial Services and venue dressers, Eventures, had a Vegas style and raised more than £34,000 – which is hoped to be reached again for 2017.

Beechwood Cancer Care Centre supports people from across the north west with every aspect of their journey with cancer and life limiting illness.

Tickets for the event are £60 or £75 VIP, which includes an after-show cocktail in Cloud 23 bar.
