Jeremy Orrell is the new managing partner at Cheshire law firm SAS Daniels LLP.
The appointment has been made to support the firm’s plans for growth across its four offices in Stockport, Macclesfield, Chester and Congleton.
Orrell joined SAS Daniels in 2009 to head up its new corporate team, which has since quadrupled its turnover.
He became the firm’s finance partner in 2013 and has overseen a 50% growth in the firm’s annual turnover to £9m.
Orrell is also recognised in Legal 500 as one of the region’s ‘Leading Individuals’ in his field.
The firm has also appointed Andy Booth as deputy managing partner.
Orrell said: “It is a great honour to be appointed as the firm’s managing partner during such an exciting time for us.
“We continue to attract outstanding legal talent to the firm and as a result have an incredibly strong and growing client base, who value our results driven approach to service delivery.
“We have enjoyed significant development and growth over the past five years and we intend to continue to build on this success in a controlled and strategic manner. We are committed to continuing our investment in developing the firm, our people and our clients.
“What is particularly important to me is the firm’s culture as I believe it differentiates us from our competitors. Our ethos is one of transparency, courtesy, integrity and fairness which are not always a given in an increasingly competitive commercial environment.”
Over the past three years SAS Daniels has extended its legal services into different niche areas and now has specialist lawyers servicing the construction, music, agricultural, insolvency and food sectors.
It has invested in new offices in both Macclesfield and Congleton and is planning to move to larger offices in Chester to accommodate the growth the firm has enjoyed in the city.
The firm has also recently celebrated its renewal of Lexcel accreditation and Investors in People Gold Standard.
