Life Leisure marketing manager Laura Mylotte has won the Irish Nationals Ladies Squash title – 10 years after winning her first one.

Laura, 40, won the open-age title at the Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club in Dublin for the second time, having appeared in four finals since she was 19.

The previous week she won her first British over-40s title, having previously won the over-35s title on four occasions.

Laura, who lives in Heaton Moor, said: “I think I am probably the oldest lady to ever win an Irish National title – a strange record.”

Laura, who plays at the Grove Park Squash Club in Cheadle Hulme, has 100 Irish caps and is travelling to Warsaw in May to represent Ireland at the European Team Championships having won bronze at the event last year.
