Stockport photographer supports James Bond Ball

Stan Boardman at last year's event

M Photographic in Stockport are again supporting the annual ‘Summer Swing’ golf day held by Franklyn Financial Management at the Mere Resort, near Knutsford, as they host their 2016 fundraiser this July.

FFM uses the annual golf day as a way of raising much needed funds for the charitable arm of St James’s Place Wealth Management, the St James’s Place Foundation.

The Foundation funds hundreds of projects each year and to ensure its needs can be supported it relies heavily on the generosity and actions of Partners and staff to raise vital funds.

‘St James’s Place Foundation is a grant-making charity with a difference.

The vast majority of funds raised come from fundraising or generous donations made by the Partners and employees of St James’s Place each year.

These funds are then matched pound for pound by the company. Over the last 22 years the St. James’s Place Community has raised and distributed in excess of £40 million to good causes.’

M Photographic is involved for the third year in succession with 2015’s event raising no less than £104,000 for those less fortunate.

Recent years have seen evening entertainment from Kym Marsh, Bobby Davao and Stan Boardman, and all hosted by Key 103 DJ Darren Proctor.

The 2016 event on the July 14 will have guests enjoying a ‘James Bond’ themed evening titled Nobody Does It Better, and will be fantastically organised as usual by Stockport based Event Management company, Entertainment Today.

“We’ve thoroughly enjoyed being a part of Franklyn’s Golf Day for the last two years, and are very much looking forward to supporting the event once again” said Mike.

“It’s great to be involved with such a good cause. The Foundation provides help to so many charities, it’s the least we can do to just be involved”.
