Five people have won tickets for a private guided tour of Bramall Hall’s restoration work, following its £1.6m refurbishment.
Hard Hat Tours of the hall in Bramhall, Stockport, have been so popular that they are now all fully booked. The Golden Ticket Tour will offer one last chance for a sneaky peek to five lucky residents before Bramall Hall re-opens this summer.
A competition, which ran on Restore Bramall Hall’s Facebook page, asked followers to say what they loved about Bramall Hall – such as a childhood memory, a special occasion, a favourite room or historic object.
The five Golden Ticket winners are Judy Humphrey, Heather Ford, Chrissy Wright, Maureen Riley and Heva Simpson.
The Golden Ticket Tour is on March 10 at 4pm. It will be led by Alison Farthing, Stockport Council’s Restoration Project Manager, and Adrian Walker, Programme Manager from principal contractor, William Anelay Ltd.
