Manchester Magic complete season and commence playoffs

March Madness saw Manchester Magic playing a relentless seven games over consecutive weekends.  For the month they completed five wins from the seven and the conclusion of the season saw them crowned NBL Division One League Champions.

Whilst previously winning the National Trophy and National Cup they have played a total of 44 games losing only five of these in the seven months of the season.

With the League completed the top eight teams in the League now commence Play offs a competition Manchester Magic featured in to the final last year.

The team at the time of writing have completed and won the Quarter final and beat London Lituanica 71-55 in a very strong competition which, whilst very even in the first half, Magic’s team spirit and enterprise established a highly defensive final quarter to maintain themselves in this final competition.

They are due to play Team Northumbria on Saturday coming; a side they have already faced three times throughout this campaign winning each game and subject to victory will meet either Derby Trailblazers or Reading Rockets at the new EBL Basketball Centre in Belle Vue.
