New Manchester nightlife app Viper Nights is taking the city by storm with more than 1,000 bar-goers downloading the app.

The app is designed to transform a night out by giving access to exclusive drinks packages, upgrading to VIP, and avoiding Manchester’s infamous rain by offering real-time queue jumping.

Users can also earn loyalty points, while bars can promote special offers.

The idea came from founders Craig Davies, 31, Craig Gidley, 32, and Stephen Powell, 32, who had their lightbulb moment while soaked in a queue outside a bar in Spinningfields.

Craig Davies said: “There is no other app on the market that compares to what we offer in Manchester.

“The close-knit relationships we have developed across the best bars in the city ensure our users have unrivalled access to exclusive upgrades during their night out.

“Whether you’re organising a work Christmas night out and fancy having a night of luxury in VIP, or you simply want to avoid the queues, Viper makes this possible – all from the palm of your hand.”

Viper’s priority is to ensure only the finest bars in Manchester are available and with an ever growing list including the likes of Impossible, Dirty Martini, Cloud 23, The Living Room, Epernay, The Milton Club and Bijou, the founders are excited by what the app can offer its users.

Stephen Powell added: “We’re really pleased to be growing and to be involved with Manchester’s biggest and best bars.

“The app is already helping bars promote their featured nights and makes sure all their customers have an unforgettable experience.

“The Manchester nightlife industry is incredibly competitive, and we feel our partner bars can tap into a fantastic source of footfall that is not only the right target audience but guaranteed business too.”

The founders of the app are hoping to expand into other cities including Liverpool, Birmingham, Leeds, and Newcastle at the start of next year.

Stephen added: “Gone are the days of traipsing across Manchester on an endless hunt trying to find somewhere to go, only to be greeted with endless queues.

“Viper loyalty points also mean bars can make smart, informed decisions on who they let in through their doors.”

Users can download the Viper app for iPhone or Android by searching ‘Viper Nights’ in the App Store or on Google Play. You can also follow @Viper on Instagram and Twitter for all their latest news.
