NK Theatre Arts is starting a new dance class for babies and toddlers.
The first Get Up and Go class starts on Friday, February 26, at the Forum Theatre in Romiley from 9.30am-10am.
It is aimed at children aged up to three years of age and each session costs £3 every Friday morning.
“This is a chance to introduce babies and toddlers to music and dance in this fun and friendly class,” said Darren Stanage, Company Manager at NK Theatre Arts.
“Babies and toddlers are encouraged to dance along with nursery rhymes, children’s songs and even Disney classics.
“With themed weeks and even surprise visits from some friendly characters this is a perfect way for little ones to explore the way their bodies can move.
“Parents or carers are encouraged to join in with their children, with a biscuit and juice to finish the class!.”
The class will be lead by Hannah Gorst, who said: “This is going to be a really fun and exciting class which is being run weekly drop-in basis, so people don’t need to worry about committing to every Friday.
“We think it is going to be a great opportunity to see the development of babies and toddlers as they learn to explore and move through music and dance.
“Toddlers have such brilliant characters and I know that the activities we have planned will really help their personalities start to shine.”
