Julian Stafford and Andrew Baggott

The shortlist for the Stockport Business Awards have been revealed.

Now celebrating their fifth year, the organisers and sponsors were once again delighted with the quantity and quality of entrants.

Andrew Baggott, managing partner at Clarke Nicklin, said: “We were very impressed with the quality of entries this year, and I think the shortlist is a fantastic representation of the cross-section of great businesses we have in the area.

“Judging wasn’t easy, the competition was really tough, but it was also really enjoyable and we thank the other judges for giving up their valuable time to take part.”

The Stockport Business Awards is organised by accountancy practice Clarke Nicklin, and headline sponsors are high-profile businesses from the region – Gorvins Solicitors, Orbit Developments and NatWest.

The ceremony takes place on October 13 at Stockport Town Hall and tickets go on sale soon.
