For the first time ever, Wilmslow Motor Show will welcome Chester Harley Davidson who will be displaying their custom made bike, created specifically for the Show. We are also pleased to announce BMW Motorrad specialists, Williams Motorcycles, will be attending with a double stand. These brands will join other great marques at the Show, including: Audi, Caterham, Ferrari, Lotus, Maserati, Mercedes, Morgan, Porsche, Tesla and Zenos.
Once again Sporting Bears Motor Club will enable visitors to experience the drive of their life in an Aston Martin, Ferrari or Bentley in return for a small donation to The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust.
The event which was set up in 2012, is organised by the Wilmslow Business Group and supported by Wilmslow Town Council, and is expected to bring over 30,000 visitors to the centre of Wilmslow providing a huge boost to the local economy. This year’s sponsors include Orbit Developments and the Cheshire Watch Company.
In addition to The Motor Show, Wilmslow Town Centre boasts some of the best boutique shops, cafes and restaurants making it a fantastic day out for all the family.
Catherine Mackenzie chairman of the Wilmslow Business Group, who organises the event said ”The Motor Show is a great family day out, bringing real vibrancy to the town centre. This will be the fourth Motor Show that the Business Group has delivered to the town and we plan on this one being even better than previous ones.”
Steve Kennedy of Mailboxes etc, who was the brainchild of the Motor Show back in 2012 commented: “We get a real buzz from the day which is a win-win for all involved – the retailers, restaurants and bars see an increase in business; the dealers get to showcase their vehicles; and the town gets a great day out.”
The event is free to attend and is taking place on 24th September, 10am until 4pm in Wilmslow Town Centre, along Grove Street, Bank Square and the Alderley Road service road. The Supercar Parade will again take place at midday. You can follow the build-up of the event on twitter @wilmmotorshow and facebook Wilmslow Motor Show.
