Comic Ted Robbins and former Coronation Street star Brian Capron will headline in Aladdin at Stockport Plaza from December.
The annual panto runs from December 1, 2017, to January 7, 2018.
Robbins is from a showbiz family and is known to millions of fans young and old for his much loved roles in Phoenix Nights, Coronation Street and his award-winning role as The Governor in the top CBBC Show The Slammer, plus his popular radio shows on BBC Lancashire and Manchester.
He makes a welcome return to The Plaza and is guaranteed to bring the house down when he stars as Widow Twanky the colourful Dame who explodes onto the stage to keep an eye on his/her errant children Aladdin, who will be played by newcomer to the Plaza pantomimes, Benjamin Connor, and Wishee Washee, played by the ever-popular Bradley Thompson.
Adding a sparkling oriental majesty to proceedings is the popular Becky Bennett, who again is returning due to popular demand, this time as Princess Balroubadour in a role she is guaranteed to make her own with her elegance, grace and stunning singing voice.
Sarring alongside Robbins, Capron plays Abanazar. He has had roles in the West End in productions such as Guys And Dolls and The Rocky Horror Show and is well known for his many television roles, including his award-winning performance as the murderous Richard Hillman in Coronation Street.
