Trespass and Holland & Barrett sign up for Merseyway

Merseyway shopping centre in Stockport

High street names Trespass and Holland & Barrett have chosen Stockport’s Merseyway Shopping as the home for their latest stores, bringing occupancy in the shopping centre to over 95%.

Offering outdoor clothing, footwear and accessories, Trespass opened their new store a few weeks ago.

Holland & Barrett have also made the decision to move their town centre store into Merseyway after their success in Stockport meant they had to search for a larger shop in the town.

Councillor Kate Butler, Executive Member for Economy & Regeneration at Stockport Council said: “It’s great to be able to welcome Trespass and Holland & Barrett to Merseyway and I want to wish them every success for the future.

“New stores opening in Stockport is a positive sign of the improving environment our town centre offers for businesses and consumers alike.”

Work on the neighbouring Redrock leisure development with a a 10-screen cinema, restaurants and car parking, is gathering momentum ahead of its opening this November.

Holland & Barrett’s Head of Brand & Marketing Emma Hobbs said:  We’re delighted to be a part of the Merseyway renaissance and are really excited to unveil our new store in Stockport’s Merseyway Shopping Centre.

“We look forward to welcoming local people to share our latest products and concepts in the health food, beauty and sports categories.”
