The Vernon Building Society is again looking for the best photographs taken in and around Stockport.
The Society wants entries from budding photographers to feature in its 2018 calendar with the 13 best to be selected – one for each month and a cover photo.
The photographer whose effort is used on the front will also win a £100 Love2Shop voucher.
Ian Keeling, Director of Sales & Marketing at the Vernon, said: “The standards of entries has been extremely high over previous years.
“Entries will be judged based on four criteria: composition, originality, public appeal and suitability for inclusion.
“People can also vote for their favourite photo which will be considered under the ‘public appeal’ element of the shortlisting criteria.
“Photos must feature subject matter in Stockport and the surrounding area, and the location of the photograph should be identified in the entry.”
The competition will run between September 6th and October 4th.

The winning photographs will be featured in the Vernon Building Society 2018 calendar, which will be sold through the Vernon’s branches.
All profits will go to the Jubilee Fund, which sponsors charity and community groups in Stockport.
