The Vernon Jubilee calendar of Stockport photos

The Vernon Building Society in Stockport has raised over £1,120 for local causes with their 2016 ‘Celebrating Stockport’ calendar.

The calendar features photographs of local landmarks in Stockport chosen from 55 entries to the Vernon’s photography competition last year.

Sold through the Vernon’s branches, all proceeds from calendar sales went to the Society’s Jubilee Fund which supports local charity and community groups.

Ian Keeling, head of sales and marketing at the Vernon, said: “With over 220 copies sold, the calendar’s success is testament to the quality of the work submitted by local amateur photographers who very kindly allowed us to use their incredible images, free of charge.

“All proceeds go to our Jubilee Fund, which has donated over £40,000 to more than 50 local charity and community groups since 2012.”
