Altrincham-based Jefferies Injury Lawyers has raised a substantial sum for charity – by scaling London’s O2 Arena for Headway UK and getting their running shoes on for Race for Life’s Pretty Muddy at Tatton Park Knutsford.
In what has turned out to be a big month for charity donations, Jefferies Solicitors raised an impressive £2,500 in June split between Headway Brain Injury Association and Cancer Research.
Partner Michael Jefferies said: “We managed to complete the O2 climb in an hour and a half – it was a great way to see the sights of London from up high whilst also supporting such a worthwhile cause.
“In the spirit of keeping active, we took part in Pretty Muddy again this year to show our commitment to Cancer Research. This is a charity that is close to our hearts and it was great to be able to show our support once again.”
Headway is the UK-wide charity that works to improve life after brain injury. Through its network of more than 125 groups and branches across the UK, it provides support, services and information to brain injury survivors, their families and carers, as well as to professionals in the health and legal fields.
