Berretto Lounge is the latest restaurant to open at Redrock Stockport.
Overlooking the public square that links Redrock with Prince’s Street, Berretto Lounge has created 25 jobs and will serve food and drinks from 9am every day.
Redrock has proven an instant success with visitors from across South Manchester since it opened just 11 weeks ago, with The Lights cinema and restaurants – including Pizza Express – all reporting visitor and trading figures are well ahead of predictions.
Councillor Kate Butler, Stockport Council’s Cabinet Member for Economy and Regeneration, said: “It’s great to be able to welcome Berretto Lounge to Stockport, and I’m sure that they are going to prove very popular at Redrock.
“I’m delighted that their opening has created so many new jobs for local people and want to wish Berretto Lounge and each of their staff the very best for the future.”
Jenny Arnot, Operations Manager for Berretto Lounge, added: “We’re delighted to have opened our Berretto Lounge and showing the locals how to lounge in style.
“The team are looking forward to becoming part of the community and will support local groups and initiatives wherever possible.”
Free parking is available for anyone coming to Redrock to watch a film at The Light by validating your ticket, as well as for all other visitors after 6pm every day.
