Didsbury Beer Festival returns for ninth year

Last year's Didsbury Beer Festival

The ninth Didsbury Beer Festival takes place next week at St Catherine’s Club in Didsbury.

There will be over 150 beers and ciders as well as food and entertainment at the event that takes place over three days at the regular venue on School Lane from October 27 to 29.

Organiser Michael O’Hare said: “We hope to raise bags of money for this year’s local charities to add to the £100,000 donated over the last eight years.

“We have over 100 real ales, including the champion beer of Britain 2016, Bingham’s Vanilla Stout, and over 50 ciders and perries.

“Again we hope to fill our massive marquees with thousands of visitors who always enjoy the live rock ‘n roll bands over the three days and the 25-piece big band Swingin’ Affair on Saturday afternoon.

“There will also be the usual fantastic curries, hot pots and burgers made fresh on site.”

All the details, including entrance prices, and beer and cider lists can be found on the Didsbury Beer Festival website.
