Didsbury Golf Club is holding a free Open Day on Sunday, April 10, from 10am to 3pm at the club on Ford Lane.
Any beginners interested in giving golf a try or have not been able to play for a while and would like to revisit the game can come down.
Didsbury are opening up all of their practice facilities and will be providing free professional coaching led by their head professional Peter Barber, who is the chief coach for Cheshire and is also a coach with England for the North West, and his team.
In the programme there will be the opportunity to practise driving shots, the short game on the new six-hole practice area, putting fun, visit the new indoor practice swing room with the most up-to-date technology to assess your swing, a tour of the club and its facilities and an opportunity to meet current members with refreshments available.
