A special school in Stockport is making an appeal for Sainsbury’s Active Kids vouchers.
The disabled students at the Seashell Trust-run Royal School Manchester in Cheadle Hulme love sport but are in desperate need for new equipment.
Supermarket giant Sainsbury’s is giving away vouchers which shoppers can donate to the school or youth organisation of their choice.
For every £10 spent in a superstore or £5 in a Sainsbury’s Local one voucher will be issued.
The vouchers will be exchanged for sports gear from the Seashell Trust’s wishlist.
Seashell Trust teacher Rachel Dwyer said: “We passionately believe sport is can be enjoyed by all, no matter what the ability or disability.
“New equipment will mean more fun for our students. Don’t just throw away the vouchers if your children are no longer in school. Pass them on to us and help keep our kids active.”
Vouchers will be issued until May 3, 2016 and can be handed in at the trust or posted to Seashell Trust, Stanley Road, Cheadle Hulme, SK8 6RQ until July.
