Stockport Beer and Cider Festival holds 30th year event at Edgeley Park

The 30th Stockport Beer and Cider Festival takes place at Edgeley Park from June 2-4

There will be more than 150 different cask beers, ciders, perries and bottled conditioned beers from across Europe and the USA on sale, as well as music every day.

Organiser Jim Flynn said: “The use of the stadium gives festival goers the guarantee of a seat and the chance to drink outside during what it is to be hoped will be balmy summer days and evenings while downstairs great live entertainment is promised in the large entertainment suite.

“In addition, as always, there an especially brewed festival ale, stalls, programme, souvenir T-shirts and glasses, and hot and cold food. Families are very welcome in the stand and limited disabled access is available.”

The festival is supporting Stockport mental health charity, Beacon Counselling, this year.

The Stockport Beer and Cider Festival runs on Thursday (June 2) from 5.30pm-11pm, Friday (June 3) from 12 noon-11pm and Saturday (June 4) from noon-11pm.

Tickets start at £2 per session with full details and advance sales on the beer festival website.

The Stockport Beer and Cider Festival is organised by the Campaign for Real Ale and run by CAMRA members who volunteer their time on an unpaid basis.
