Second-half goals from Richard Brodie, John Marsden and Obi Anoruo continued Stockport County’s revival under Jim Gannon.

After a goalless first period, the game sprang into life with Brodie’s opener after 47 minutes.

Brodie headed heading high into the net for his third league goal from Karl Ledsham’s free kick.

Marsden doubled the lead just before the hour mark, chipping in from Kay Odejayi’s flick on.

Marsden and Anoruo both cam close to adding the third, but that honour fell to Anoruo three minutes from the end, starting and finishing the move that involved Marsden and Danny Morton.

County are now in 10th in the table and travel to Hednesford on Saturday – the Hatters beat the same team 3-0 at the start of the month.
