April's Stockport Foodie Friday

Once a month doesn’t seem enough but that’s the only helping you will get of Stockport Foodie Friday.

The enormously popular event takes place on the last Friday of the month and has a menu to suit everyone.

April’s event – part of the Stockport Old Town Folk Festival – saw around 20 food stalls.

Where to head first – pizza, Mexican, Thai? Easy choice – the Nasi Lemak Malay street food stall where a serving of fiery prawns and rice is £7.

Prices are reasonable – pizzas start at £6 and small, Dutch pancakes just £3 a serving.

If you fancy a drink the Bakers Vaults is open or head to Seven Miles Out’s bottle bar,

All in all, a great and reasonably priced night out.
