Stockport Town face Hanley Town for the first time at Stockport Sports Village this weekend as both clubs continue to fight at the top of the Division One table.

Hanley arrive at SSV flying high at the top of the North West Counties Football League as they continue their push for a promotion.

The Lions are also looking up and the club has maintained their place in the play-offs throughout this season.

With games in hand being played and teams playing catch-up, the Division One table is starting to take shape and Stockport have a play-off place in their sights.

The Lions go into this game on the back of a defeat in the Reusch First Division Cup semi-final to Barnton on penalties.

Visitors Hanley go into this clash on the back of a 0-0 draw at home to promotion rivals Irlam in midweek and have a healthy eight-point lead at the top.

Stockport have won the most home matches in the league this season, while Hanley have by far the best away record in the division, having won 11 of their 12 away games.

Kick-off on Saturday is 3pm.
