Stockport band Blossoms have announced a new album and homecoming gig at Stockport Plaza.
The new album – the self-titled Blossoms – will be released on August 5 and the band are to play Stockport Plaza at midnight on the Thursday. Ticket details have yet to be announced.
The band released the news on their Facebook page: “We’re delighted to announce that our eponymous debut album ‘BLOSSOMS’ will be released on Friday 5th August.
“Available on signed CD, signed limited edition gatefold vinyl & digital download, you can pre-order your copy now.
“If you pre-order a copy of the album via the official store then you’ll be in with a chance of seeing us play a special home town show at Stockport Plaza at midnight on 5th August (Thursday night).”
Blossoms are also due to appear on Later With Jools Holland on BBC Two this week.
