Lyme Park has launched its Charlie and Lola season of events at the National Trust property in Disley near Stockport.
The popular TV characters follow on from last year’s Gruffalo events at the estate, with an activity trail featuring Lauren Child’s famous characters.
“Lauren Child has an amazing talent for really engaging with her young audience” says Cei Paynton, Lyme’s general manager.
“It’s great that we’re able to continue our association with her this summer through lots of great family activities, as well as showcasing some of her original artwork for the stories.
“In the garden, we’ve created a new, interactive trail for children where they meet Charlie and Lola, and other characters such as Clarice Bean, Hubert Horatio and the Storybook Wolves.
“Judging by the reaction we had from families over the launch weekend, it’s going to be a very busy and enjoyable summer her at Lyme”.
Charlie and Lola are at Lyme until September, admission charges apply. Full details on the National Trust website.
