A Stockport gym is looking for up to 100 women to take part in a free fitness challenge.
The Lean Body Project, based in the town centre, is running special fitness sessions as part of its 30-Day Challenge.
People selected to take part in the challenge that runs from January 29 can train in organised fitness sessions up to three times a week.
The Lean Body Project is opening five extra time slots for the challenge – 9.30am, 12.30pm, 1pm, 2pm and 4pm – on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the gym on Princes Street.
The 30-minute sessions will be a mixture of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), box fit (non-contact boxing) and circuit training using a variety of equipment including dumbbells, kettlebells and medicine balls.
The sessions will be run by experienced personal trainers, who will also be on hand for fitness and nutrition advice.
Lean Body Project owner Damien Coates said: “The programme will be available to women in good health looking to lose between one and three stone over the course of the month.
“One of our team will speak to each applicant to ensure they are suitable to join the challenge.

“Participants can expect to lose anything from seven to 14 lbs – a dress size or more – and feel fitter, faster and stronger with more energy and confidence, not to mention making a bunch of new like-minded and supportive friends.
“Prizes will be given throughout the programme for effort, perseverance and supporting others.
“There is no catch – the 30-day programme is free and is our way of helping people that might be struggling on their fitness journey after Christmas.”
Anyone wanting to apply to take part should email applications@theleanbodyproject.co.uk.
