Everyone loves a good laugh and everyone loves good music so the next Congleton Comedy Club is a no brainer when a fine exponent of both arts takes to the stage
Musical comedian Mitch Benn may not look that familiar but if you’re a fan of Radio 4’s The Now Show you’ll certainly recognise the voice as Mitch regularly performs satirical songs alongside Steve Punt, Hugh Dennis and Marcus Brigstocke.
He’s also a firm favourite with audiences as diverse as BBC1’s The One Show and Glastonbury Festival’s infamous comedy tent.
Mitch also tours extensively with his band Mitch Benn and The Distractions.
Mitch is joined by Pat Cahill, former psychiatric nurse Penella Mellor and long time favourite and former Congletonian Phil ElliS returns to compere.
