St Ann’s Hospice is appealing for Easter eggs for two forthcoming events.
St Ann’s is holding two fundraising Easter Egg Hunts and is asking for local businesses or individuals to consider donating chocolate eggs to help them ensure children taking part have as much fun as possible.
Eamonn O’Neal, Chief Executive of St Ann’s, said: “We’re really lucky that local people are always so supportive of the hospice and we couldn’t care for our patients without them shelling out.
“We’d love people to pop into our hospice sites in Heald Green, Little Hulton or the Neil Cliffe Centre at Wythenshawe Hospital and drop off a chocolate egg or two.
“Please do consider buying one with your weekly shop, or if you’re a business, perhaps each employee could save the money spent on a takeaway sandwich one day and spend it on an Easter Egg for St Ann’s instead?
“The money raised at the events will have a huge impact on the lives of our patients, right when they need it most, and any donations will be gratefully received.”
The hospice’s Easter Egg Hunts will be taking place on March 31 from 12 noon to 3pm at Wythenshawe Park (near the Courtyard Café) and in Heaton Park (near the Farm Centre) at the same time.
As well as the hunts, the events will also include stalls, games and other activities for the whole family to enjoy.
If you can help with Easter Egg donations or would like tickets to take your family to one of the hunts, please contact the hospice’s fundraising team on 0161 498 3631 or email events@sah.org.uk.
