Stockport County Community Foundation has teamed up with the club’s Gold Bond Lottery to help fund disability sport.

The lottery will donate a percentage of its profits to the Disability Programme managed by the Stockport County Community Foundation, who in turn will seek new members for the Gold Bond Lottery while also offering a £5 soccer school discount to all lottery members.

Tom Quayle, manager of the Gold Bond Lottery, said: “We are delighted to be able to support the Community Foundation’s Disability Programme with a weekly donation.

“We are looking forward to working closely with the Community Foundation in order to benefit both the football club and the people with disabilities that the Foundation already does a fantastic job in supporting in the local community.”

Adrian Rigby-Bates, Disability Football Development Officer for the Community Foundation, said: “We are absolutely delighted with our partnership with the club’s lottery and very grateful to them for their weekly support with their very kind donation.

“We are very grateful to receive donations of this type which are invaluable in helping towards funding the Foundation’s valuable services and provision that support children and adults with a range of physical and learning disabilities.”
