Take a virtual tour of Stockport Town Hall

360 of Stockport Town Hall

Bellyflop TV have completed a Street View Tour of Stockport Town Hall, taking visitors on a virtual tour of this iconic ‘wedding cake’ building.

As a goodwill gesture to Stockport Council, Bellyflop’s Jonathan Robinson offered to do a Street View tour of the town hall.

Jonathan said: “This is a 360 degree tour of the building, and it means online visitors can take a tour from the street through the foyer, the ball room, then down the corridor with committee rooms and council chamber.

“They can ‘walk’ around the marble staircase and even take a look inside the men’s toilets! As unusual as it sounds, they are worth a look.

“This gives everyone, whether they are locals or people on the other side of the world, a reminder of this magnificent building, and also is a useful marketing tool for the council to promote the facilities they have for functions and events.”

Although the main work of Bellyflop TV is video production for websites, customers can have the add on of a Street View tour of their business premises.

Jonathan adds: “As a business is usually tidy and well presented for filming, it’s the perfect time to do the Street View as well.

“In fact these virtual tours have soon grown to become 10 per cent of our turnover and, as we have met the quality criteria set by Google, we are certified and appear on their approved list of suppliers.

Many of their other Street View tours are available to view in video on their website.
