St Ann’s Hospice is holding three special fundraising events across Greater Manchester this summer to help raise funds to support local people with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses.
St Ann’s – which cares for and supports thousands of local people each year at its sites in Heald Green, Little Hulton and the Neil Cliffe Centre at Wythenshawe Hospital – is holding three family-friendly summer events to kick off the holidays in style.
The first will be a special fundraising afternoon tea at the hospice’s Neil Cliffe Centre in Wythenshawe Hospital on 19 June from 2pm to 4pm.
There will also be two summer fairs held at the hospice’s Heald Green and Little Hulton sites – the Little Hulton one on June 24 and the Heald Green one on July 22, both from 12 noon to 3pm.
Highlights at the two fairs will include a barbeque, face painting, tombolas, raffles, stalls and refreshments – and much more too.
Eamonn O’Neal, Chief Executive of St Ann’s, said: “At St Ann’s we’ve been a part of our local communities for almost half-a-century, and the summer fairs are always a highlight of our annual fundraising calendar.
“It’s always so great to meet local people, and to see everyone having such a great time whilst raising money for our patients and their families. We can’t wait to see everyone again this year.”
Entry to the fairs is just £1, with accompanied children free. Entry to the Neil Cliffe Centre event is free.
