Wilmslow’s Fat Face store has given its share of the clothing firm’s national fundraising pot to Stockport charity Together Trust.

The store in Wilmslow chose to support the Cheadle-based charity, raising a total of £889.77 to help the charity that provides special education, fostering, residential and community care to over 2,300 young people and adults in the north west each year.

The Fat Face Thanks for Giving campaign saw 10% of its profits in a week in November split between nominated charities across the country. The total donation stood at £198,419 – the single biggest donation in the history of Fat Face.

Jen Sweeney, senior fundraiser at the Together Trust, said: “We are thrilled to have been the chosen charity of Fat Face, Wilmslow. The money raised will go towards the young people, adults and families that the Together Trust supports.”

Hannah Young, supervisor at the Fat Face Wilmslow Store, added: “I really loved the Thanks for Giving campaign we ran in November.

“Christmas is a time for giving and we are so happy to present this cheque to the Together Trust and support the important work they do. Thank you to our customers for helping to make this happen.”
