Seashell Trust students netted a fantastic result at the glamorous Boodles Tennis at the Mere.
Top players served up some ace tennis action in the beautiful sunshine at the society fundraiser on the courts at The Mere Golf Resort and Spa, near Knutsford.
The three-day event, featuring international stars Kim Clijisters, Marion Bartoli, Goran Ivanisevic, Richard Krajicek and Xavier Malisse, raised £10,000 for Seashell Trust.
The young people from the Cheadle Hulme charity all have complex learning disabilities and additional communication needs.
They enjoyed some tennis coaching and painting with racquets during the event sponsored by upmarket jewellers Boodles.
Tournament director Vicky Collins said: “We are absolutely delighted to have raised £10,000 for Seashell Trust this year.
“A huge thank you to everyone who donated to the charity across the three-day event, and thank you to all our sponsors for providing some fantastic raffle prizes too.”
Rachel McCrystal, from Seashell Trust, said: “It was a wonderful three days and our students loved being part of such a fabulous event.
“It meant we could let a whole new set of supporters know about the great work we do at Seashell Trust’s national centre of excellence here in the north west.”
The event was also sponsored by top brands Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Manchester, wealth manager Brown Shipley, Oman Air and Manchester Airport.
