St Ann’s Hospice’s annual Christmas fairs in Little Hulton, Heald Green and at the Neil Cliffe Centre in Wythenshawe Hospice raised £8,782 for the charity thanks to the generous support of local people.
Eamonn O’Neal, chief executive of St Ann’s, said: “We’re thrilled that so many people came along to our fairs and helped us to raise so much money.
“As a charity we only receive around a third of our funding from the NHS so we have to fundraise around £16,000 every day to ensure we can continue providing free care to our patients.
“The fairs were great fun, and it was brilliant to see the community coming together. A big thank you to everyone involved.”
