Get into the spirit of Christmas by joining the St Ann’s Hospice Festival Choir at their Christmas Concert at The Bridgewater Hall on Friday, December 8.
It will be a night of carols and seasonal music in the company of some of Manchester’s most talented singers and musicians is a highlight of the festive calendar.
Sing along to your favourite carols accompanied by the Corus Brass Ensemble and the Bowdon Preparatory School for Girl’s Chamber Choir, with pianist Christopher Ellis and organist Elin Rees.
Conductor is music director John Pomphrey and the evening is hosted by Coronation Street actress Sue Nicholls.
Choir chair Rosemary Murray said: “Many people like to take advantage of the coaches which make the evening hassle free.
“We’re also offering a family ticket at £62 for four people and only one person needs to be under 16.
“It’s a wonderful evening so why not put on your Christmas jumper, sing along with some much-loved Christmas Carols and support a worthwhile cause.”
The choir has raised £20,000 for St Ann’s in the last year, bringing total donations during its 26-year history to almost £750,000.
A cheque was presented to Mike Brown, Interim Chair of Trustees at St Ann’s, at a Come and Sing Day to encourage new members.
